COURT INFORMATION
The Bloomingdale Municipal Court handles traffic citations, city ordinance violations, and other minor offenses within the city limits. Court sessions begin at 2:00 P.M. Cases should be scheduled at least 30 days from the current date. All criminal cases are heard on the second court date of the month at 2:00 P.M. If you have received a citation and do not wish to appear in court, you may call (912) 748-8302 or visit the Bloomingdale Police Department at 6 Adams Road to determine your fine amount.

All criminal cases are scheduled on the second court date of each month, beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Bloomingdale City Hall, 8 US Highway 80.
What happens if I miss my court date?
Failure to appear may result in a bench warrant being issued for your arrest. Contact the court immediately if you missed a scheduled date.

All persons must dress appropriately. No shorts, tank tops, or hats are permitted inside the courtroom.

All electronic devices must be silenced before entering the courtroom. Violations will result in confiscation by an officer.

NO WEAPONS
No weapons are allowed inside City Hall, except those carried by certified law enforcement officers. Possession of dangerous weapons inside a government building is a criminal offense under OCGA 16-11-127.

NO FOOD OR DRINKS
No food or drinks are permitted inside the courtroom. All food and beverages must be deposited in the trash before entering the building.

NO SMOKING OR TOBACCO
Smoking is not permitted in the Bloomingdale Municipal Building. Dipping and tobacco chewing are also prohibited inside the building.

Small children are strongly discouraged from attending court sessions. Childcare issues will not be considered grounds for a continuance.
